LIFE IN LOVE PART II

Cinthia (she/her) and Robyn (they/them) get real about their two-year relationship to unpack the stereotypes and misconceptions around asexuality and desire.

For a birthday outing, the pair meet up with friends Kenya (he/they) and Pete (he/him). Between a stroll outside and smashing plates in an abandoned building, the friends open up about their own relationships. Breaking free of the stigmas surrounding asexuality and open relationships, the friends share stories of how they make it work.

THE SERIES

Follow three burgeoning Gen Z relationships in refreshing WOO and ITV original series, Life in Love. Each episode captures authentic snapshots of love, sex, friendship and community. As the couples invite us into the very intimate details of their lives, the show reveals a tenderness seldom caught in digital format. Through second dates and mind-expanding sex, frank conversations and clubbing, take an honest look into the intricacies of modern love.

Life In Love is a docu-drama developed through personal interviews with three different couples. The films were then devised based on these interviews, and the participants became the actors in their own stories.

After launching online on ITV HUB and WOO, the series had a selective festival run. It had a special screening of the trilogy at BFI London Film Festival, opened London short film festival in 2024 after playing the year before and was celebrated at numerous queer film festivals, including BFI Flare, Fringe! and more.
